The Iris 1108 features the new Intel Core i7 "Nehalem" processor. This new 1U server really pack a lot of computing power into a small and energy efficient package. Up to eight SAS, SATA, or Solid State disks power the IO subsystem. Dual gigabit ethernet controllers and up to 12GB of DDR3 ECC memory give this little wonder the punch to serve the most demanding application.
