Multi-Level Data Protection
NexentaStor is based on the ZFS fileststem so multi-level data protection features are built right in:
- No Silent Data Corruption - With end-to-end checksumming and transactional copy-on-write silent data corruption is virtually impossible.
- Snapshots - Unlike some systems that limit an administrator to only a few snapshots, the ZFS filesystem allows for unlimited snapshots. This gives great flexibility when designing a backup strategy.
- Block-Level Mirroring - Setup real time mirroring for remote backups and disaster recovery.

Inherent I/O Virtualization
